Well I think I've had enough of this misery going around
​I'm saturated from opinionated media clowns
I understand change is gonna happen there's no slowing this world down
So throw your hopes and dreams into the wind maybe they'll be found

Families out of work searching for the light 
Drowning in their own homes with no lifelines
Politicians pointing fingers blame it all on the other side
​But quoting from the scriptures can't sanctify the lies

Have we lost miss liberty purple mountains majesty
​In the home of the brave and free

​We run off to save the world saviors who are blind
Pretending we have all the answers in these troubling times
Back home the truth is dying withering on the vine
Looking for salvation is it possible to find
